Enabling national-scale genomics research for public health initiatives in Scotland
EPCC, the supercomputing center at the University of Edinburgh, is dedicated to accelerating the effective use of novel computing throughout industry, academic, and commerce. They are leveraging a Cerebras CS-1 system to enable testing of many more of their ideas, using natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning. They aim to both transform the region into the “Data Capital of Europe” and enable genomics research to improve public health.
